How to be Rewarded by God-Part 1

I have read the scripture  Hebrews 11: 6 allot of times. But, this time the Holy Spirit began to show me a powerful Truth.   Let’s read the verse from two Bible translations:

King James Version: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Amplified Bible: But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him (out).

The words that stood out to me this time were REWARDER and DILIGENTLY.

Rewarder means: one who pays wages, one who compensates

Diligently means; to search out, i.e. to crave, investigate, seek after carefully

Webster dictionary defines diligently as ” with steady application and care; not carelessly; not negligently.

The Word began to speak to me:  If you diligently, crave for, investigate God’s Word with all sincerity and with your whole heart, then you are in a position to be rewarded by God.  After reading this scripture, I decided that I will never approach God and think I will come away empty, if I sincerely seek Him.  And,  I will never approach Him empty. I will praise God and worship Him.   The Word declares He rewards, He compensates, those who “diligently” Him.  Think about that.  God compensates. So the diligent should never think you will come away empty handed.  No, never!  In other words, I will receive my reward EVERY TIME!

When we come to God, let’s earnestly and whole heartedly want to know Him, want to learn of Him, want to worship Him.  Let’s go after Him with everything within us.  He has promised to reward/to compensate those who diligently seek Him.  Will you be a diligent one?
